Colt .22 conversion

I think I'll just sell it and either get a 22 conversion for my glock or buy another mkiii ruger for dueling tree use. If I were going to get a 22 cal 1911 I'd probably get the gsg and call it a day. I don't really want to modify my 1911 just to shoot 22.

I don't know about the conversion you have but I had a ACE for years and all that was required to switch from 22 to 45 was swap the slides nothing to modify.

I would have to remove the firing pin block and the trigger disconnect for the block. My 1911 is a series 80. This kit isn't conpatible.

I'll do that. I'm kinda bummed because my 1911 is a series 80 and this won't work with the series 80.

It will work you just have to make an adjustment on your series 80
frame,Pete.

You just have to remove the little silver lever in my picture at 1 o'clock. Mine is now on a Colt Liteweight frame
which feels and works very nicely.

I use my conversion kit on my Argentine Colt 70 series.
An Ace II will work on the 80 series pistols.
You remove the FPS parts and just swap out the upper and magazine to shoot the hard to find 22lr. I might be interested in some parts?
