Try keeping the mags full when they arent in use. This helped my thumbs when i finally hit the range.

Haven't "heard or read" anything about them paying the extortion fees to renew only the noted expiration date on the Roster, which other pistols recently fell off of due to not renewing the fees.

H&K, Glock, S&W, and Ruger have specifically said they'll let them fall of the roster. Kimber has said some models are gone. Sig just sucks at paying their fees and that is why more of their models have a fin on top(LCI).

Saying get them while you can because they are leaving is totally different than their expiration date is coming up. I doubt Phoenix is going anywhere, they've invested too much safetys into their guns to just get up and leave.

the first gun I bought was an HP22 it was in the mid 90's. If I remember right I didnt even have to wait. I think I walked in to Azusa guns and walked out that day. could be wrong. I have about 1500 rounds or more through it, and it has been fun. Never really use the long barrel for it.

Good idea, I think I read something about that on another thread also and have loaded the mag. Too bad they didn't design the mag with a slot on the side to depress the follower more easily, the slots on the backside don't seem to help.

Well, every handgun on the Roster has an expiration date. That doesn't mean much. Phoenix (or any manufacturer) can continue to pay the fee to renew so they can stay on.

Have you specifically heard that Phoenix will not be paying the renewal fee and will let the gun fall of the Roster? I work in the business and haven't heard that. In fact, I'd be surprised since they sell so well and they have so many safeties to be Ca approved.

I have had one since 98' and it has been a good little pistol, recently bought a 5" bbl and springs from the company. My only complaint is the customer service; I have been unable to get through on a phone call and talk to a live person and email doesn't seem to elicit any response either. Hmmm?

Yep, I wonder about their customer service, no live person to talk to if you have questions. I didn't bother to "leave a message" for a return call at the time though. Did you and they haven't called you back? It's unfortunate they don't at least have an email address that to Customer Service.

Well let me pull my foot from my mouth, as soon as I posted that here they called me..very nice and pleasant, answered all my questions and sent out 2 magazines for my old little 25 as well.....

I did have some issues with the 22A fouling alot and jamming but, when I began using 22 LR in standard velocity, as the manual suggests, my problems disappeared. Who'd a thought, read the manual huh?? I never claimed to be that smart though.
