Another fun day at the range today. It was warm and overcast but at least it wasn't raining. The morning fog made for poor visibility but by noon all was clear. I shot about 150 rounds through the Frontier Mare's Leg shooting some Remington which didn't give me very good groups. So on to some Fiocchi 40 grain TMJ. It shot by far the best but the best part was I never had a single hiccup of any sort all day.

This was my best target although I shot several that was almost as close. The Marbles Tang Sight and Lyman Globe Sight combination was a hit. I had placed the 2.4 aperture sight in it at home but didn't think it would give me enough of a sight picture but in the open at 50 yards it was a lot better than pointing it out the window at half that distance.

After shooting the Mare's Leg I shot the H001 .22LR with an old Weaver V22 on it. I wasn't able to shoot as good of groups with the scoped rifle as I was with the iron sights on the pistol. Go figure. But by then other shooters had shown up and were shooting high-powered rifles like we were being attacked. I kept flinching and wasn't able to get my breathing and sight picture at the same time.
