Recommendations on target tube fed 22s

Gutter, I would highly recommend one of the older Remington P series in tube feed, they don't make em like that anymore. Want to try out this 341P some Saturday?

Def get a Marlin Model 60! I picked mind in the mid-80's and it hasn't given any problems:

The only I have done to it is I replaced the tiny .22 scope and put on a decent one.
(Putting a decent scope makes the world of difference!)

Accurate and won't break the bank:

Bolt-Action - Remington 512, 512-P
Semi-Auto - Remington 550-1 or 550-1P
Lever-Action - 1950's Marlin 39A.

If you're looking at older .22's, get a remington or a mossberg and don't look back. Marlin 60 is a good choice too.

You didn't rule out a .22 magnum. In that case a Marlin 983.

My brother has a Marlin 60 that I borrowed for a few months. It was an accurate and fun gun.
