Same color cuz it's the same stuff!
Cool, so tell us where you bought yours at.

I got mine several years ago at McMaster & Carr. I think mine was 4-5ft length @ 1/4". I bought from another place as well. Industrial/plastic suppliers have it. Search Poly Rod...it's not scarce but they have minimum orders. Buy a length and make some friends!

Well, Ruger received my 10/22 today and they called me. They said it was not a crack, but a raised edge... I have had this since April of 1992, and the raised edge was never there. They had to strip the receiver partly.. Asked me if it was ok to completely refinish the rifle, which is awesome.

I got my rifle back today. Wow. It was well loved, being 22 years old. They put a new barrel and stock on it. They apparently bead blasted and powder coated the receiver and the trigger group. I did not take it apart, but they replaced the bolt lock, the old one stopped working properly. It looks and feels brand new.

I give an around the world and a back snap to Ruger and their awesome customer service.

When I sent this in I was bummed, because I had wanted to pass my first gun on to my daughters. It would have been cool if they had replaced it, but just not the same. I am very happy with the results.

Nice to see you didn't had to replace the receiver.

I had a cracked receiver at the rear of the ejection port on a 20+ year old 10/22 and all I needed was to ship the receiver but I got back a complete rifle, no set aside for my grand daughters. Great service.

Ruger is a stand up company, Maybe that's why i own so many of them.
