Anyone had issues with the M&P 22 lever that's made of plastic of it breaking?Comment

Sweet lmk how you like yours. I want to get one before it falls off the roster. I heard around May 2014.Comment

Whatcha talking 'bout Willis? Be careful making blanket statements like that because, it shows that your opinion is probably based on what you read on the internet. I, for one, have a .22lr conversion kit that just plain works. It's less finicky than most of my dedicated .22lr semi autos. However, since I don't really like Glocks, I'd suggest a Ruger MKII, MKIII, 22/45 or Browning Buckmark.NRA Certified Pistol, Rifle, Shotgun and Metallic Cartridge Reloading Instructor

+1 on getting a pistol. Especially a Smith M&P22 or Ruger before they fall off the roster. You can always get the kit later.Comment

Watch out with the Walther P22. Some people have called it the "Garbage" or "Throw away" gun. Mine has been a great little shooter for thousands of rounds. Eats any ammo you throw at it…BUT….there is a common issue with them after you run a bunch of rounds down the pipe. The slide catch is steel and the slide is aluminum…it eats away the little tab and eventually will not lock the slide open. If you do not care about that i have had no other issues with mine. For the money I have thoroughly enjoyed mine. Although i do have a ruger mkiii in jail thats going to be my daily plinker now!"When injustice becomes law, resistance becomes duty."

You will never know until you try a conversion kit to see if it works for you. Some units such as the CZ Kadet I have for my CZ75b are high quality and change over very quickly, making them more likely to be used when you go to the range.
Recently I bought an RIA 1911 .45-.22 combo. It changes over quickly but I'm not completely happy with the accuracy of the .22 slide so far and it does not lock back on the last shot.
My suggestion is... try the conversion for the Glock and see if it works for you.Last edited by Furncliff; 01-28-2014, 8:56 AM.Comment

My advantage arms conversion kit for my glock has been stellar and down right fun.
Mags are cheap and plentiful, don't have to buy another holster, and not another pistol to dros.
They're a local company, and they're actually phasing out their first gen conversions, but still going to back it up and support it.
And granted, there are tips and tricks like find what ammo works (mine hates auto match), but clean up the ramp, take off the flashing on the magazines, etc.sigpicComment

I would personally get a dedicated .22lr...a ruger...before they fall off the list. Get any Mk III and you can always get a .22 upper for the Glock 19. And when you do, Advantage Arms makes a reliable conversion kit.Comment
