Is it the 10/22-T? If it is the factory target model from Ruger, which is the one I have, it has a 2.5 lb. pull from the factory. It is a nice trigger pull and I don't feel anything needs to be done with it. The case may be different however if it's a regular 10/22.

Trip a Kidd or a Brimstone job, and you will wonder what it was you liked about your present trigger. The factory trigger is creepy, has a lot of take-up, and usually a lot heavier than you say yours is. I did happen to buy a 1978 10-22 that had been shot so much that it actually had a smooth trigger, but those are the exception and not the rule.

I have a few done by Brimstone and they are great. I have also done one with a Kidd trigger kit. I would say the end result is a toss up.

I have both the Kidd and VQ drop-in triggers in two of my 10/22s and both really make the rifle spiffy to shoot.

Sublime, how do I know if it's a T? it's been locked up for yrs, never been fired, has a laminated stock, bull stainless barrel, all stainless or silver.
