its crazy that DOJ is preventing them from being recertified. In two years we will have a de facto total handgun ban.

      Yikes! Thanks for the reminder.

I've been meaning to pick up a KP512MKIII to go with my 5'5" Blued 22/45 MKIII.

Someone got the one I was eyeing this week. Now I need to look also.

It won't take two years for nothin new to be on the roster, Gura is probably on retainer already.

Change is coming, just not like DoJ planned.

It looks to me as though Ruger might be moving on from the Mark III. Maybe they're going to focus on newer models that are far easier to disassemble. The sky might not be falling just yet . . .

No need to panic.... there's still a chance that Ruger will renew those certifications.

Yes, there is always a chance. Maybe the manufacturers a have decided to go after DOJ...

Don't worry, there will always be used ones. Of course now they will be marked up 100% due to being "off roster."

Commiefornia anti-gunners must surely rejoice every time a gun falls off the roster.

DOJ is preventing them from being recretified? When did that happen? I thought for guns already on the roster you just need to pay a fee and it'll be good for another year.

As I'm hearing DOJ is now inspecting the insides, upon discoverey of improvments, revisions or modifications they are now claiming it needs re-certification vs renewal.

OK and where is your source? Let's see it before we freak out. I really doubt the DOJ is going to be able to disassemble and reassemble the MK III much less be able to tell the difference if there is any. It doesn't make much sense to me.

They've already axed the P series and never did make Kalifornistan version of the SR1911 which, as we know, is just as good (if not better) than a Les Baer.

Ha, I better pick up a 22/45 soon if that is indeed the case. I've always wanted on of those Volquartsen space gun conversions for a target gun. Speaking of the SR1911 I read on the internet (aka probably not true) that Ruger sent out a survey to ask what other calibers people would like to see the SR1911 in. I hope most people answered 9mm.
