    Made up some 22LR Targets

I am on vacation up at the in-laws this week. Grandpa and I decided to take some scrap metal and make up some targets for the kids.

I saw this thread when I was looking for ideas:

          Great looking targets.

You'd have to paint them white or orange however so I could see them.

          Have fun!

Those look great. My only suggestion would be to move them farther away from the air conditioner though.

Heck, I'd have a great time and I'm...no kid.

Nice! If I could go out in my yard to shoot I'd love something like that. Lucky kids.

Very cool, kids will really dig them.

I think I won't paint them for a while. It depends if I can see them on my range. Unfortunately, my father-in-law doesn't have enough property to shoot on! I'll be taking these back home and using them at my range!

Nice comment on not shooting the air conditioner xrMike! I think shooting at the house in general would be considered a really bad idea!

I'll post some pics later after shooting at these a while and seeing how they hold up.

I thought a few of you might appreciate these pics. My father-in-law built a saloon out of an old barn on his property. We made the targets out of the workshop which is off the right side past the porch.

It's more of a lifestyle work in progress because it will never be finished, but it's pretty sweet as it is.

No saloon is complete without a bar:

He bought this great antique wood burning stove that keeps the place warm:

I found this old box of 22LR - who knew it would be worth hundreds of dollars one day? Haha He probably bought the box for a buck if that! Put a little iPhone filter on the photo:

That is a really cool Man Cave your Grampa has!! I'd like to have that same style before and after I retire. I'd put up a big screen somewhere, so I could see the Chargers Play.

It sure is! He collected all this old wood for years. It's built using almost all reclaimed wood of all kinds. Nice stuff.
