Except for cheaply priced 22lr the ammo shortage has been over for a couple of months now.

The ammo shortage is continuing for the rounds that I use for plinking in my rural front yard: subsonics such as Aguila Super Colibri and CCI 29 grain CBs.

For centerfire ammo the shortage is over, hopefully prices come down a bit though.

The .22 lr situation has improved over the past 3-4 months, but not as much as people expected. I am having no problems getting all the 3, 4, and 5 cent a round .22 lr I can shoot, so I consider it close to over. Get on backorders at Midway, act fast on Cabelas deals, and get lucky at Gander Mt.

Me too, that's all I shoot along with Eley Target. Got enough for 2-3 years of shooting. These days it costs no more than bulk ammo. Go figure.

It is always sold out by the time I get there. Unlike some people I have to work more than regular hours.

Just FYI: I'm not so sure about that. I've been told by my Federal/ATK distributor the wait for .223 Gold Dot is 6-9 months. Or more.

Very true. The match ammo I shoot (Eley Black Box or Lapua) has about the same availability and price as it did a year and a half ago. And I buy very specifically by lot #!

35,000,000 rounds? You could have a lot of fun at the range with that.

Who cares. Those of us that have been around have plenty. Don't like it? Refer to the "capitalism" statements on plenty of threads...
