These are my Grandkids Crickett rifles, junior sniper version. With the birth of my newest Granddaughter last month, I'm going to have to build another pink one, or maybe a purple laminate stock.





They all have their own 10/22 rifle for when they are big enough.

I want to get her a Crickett to start off with. Cheap and single shot. Will teach her to conserve ammo and make the most of her shot..... I think.

My nephews each have their own Crickett rifle, and they do well with them - when they can get them away from us big kids!

They had always been restricted to CB shorts and CCI Quiets, so this summer when I gave them their first few Stingers, they loved it! Great rifles for the young ones, and keeps them from devouring all my ammo.

Honestly, I have been wanting one in .22 WMR for my backpack

My Grandkids live in Arizona. These came from Walmart. Gotta love free states.

Yeah, My oldest Grandaughter loves purple more than pink, so I may order her a purple stock. The youngest is only two weeks old, so time will tell.

The scopes are all made by Crickett, along with the scope rail. 4x32 with mil dot reticle. They are very accurate.

The bipods are 2 Winchesters from Walmart and 1 is a Caldwell from Midway. It helps them steady the rifle and they hit what they aim at. They love shooting them.

Never thought of it in that sense. Just though some people would like to see some fun rifles.

I guess I'm just a purest. there are no scopes for my kids until they have learned to shoot with open sights.

They all started with iron sights, and know the principles. These are for fun. One has vision problems so the magnification helps.

Hi Ron-Solo,

I'm looking to purchase a youth sized rifle for my 10 year old grandson. Why did you choose the Crickett say over a Savage Rascal? How difficult is it for a kid to pull back on the cocking mechanism? The Savage does not have this.

Also, how stiff is the trigger pull on the Crickett?

How much total did you spend for rifle and scope?
