    Yes you can have 2 C&R 03 FFL's; 1 in California and 1 in a different state.

      Right. I just want to make sure this is normal behavior and that I didn't ruin it by breaking it down wrong or something.

        I would say it is normal for this gun.

        Follow the instructions on how to operate and disassemble your firearm and you should not have any trouble.

          The safety should only be applied when the hammer is cocked, just like on a real AR.

          The manual states not to dryfire the firearm, so normally your hammer will be cocked.

            Normal for that rifle. I have one. You can only put it on safety when it is cocked... I guess the thought process was "why lock it (put it on safety) when it is not cocked anyways and can't accidentally discharge?"

            This is similar to AR-15's.

            Don't force it.
