    Bass Pro Shops ammo stock?

So I keep seeing rimfire ammo on Bass Pro's website and it says "available in store only".

Does anybody know whether or not they actually have any in the stores?

I'm going to a wedding in Phoenix this weekend and I know there's a Bass Pro not far from where we're staying, wondering if I'm gonna' need to take extra ammo money.

    Thanks in advance.

Have you called them? That's what I do
Good friends will come bail you out of jail. A best friend will be sitting next to you in the cell saying damn that was fun!

Good idea, but with BassPros sometimes you get stuck in VoiceMail Jail.
Take the extra $$$ and plan on stopping in. If you score, please report what you find

Drop by or call that morning. I was at a BassPro recently on the start of a couple of day trip, and hit it again on the way back and their stock had basically totally turned over.

Don't forget to stop by Cabela's too.
          Yes you can have 2 C&R 03 FFL's; 1 in California and 1 in a different state.

Also, I'm a truck driver and I hit up a bunch of Walmarts too. And to be honst with you I have not had much luck finding 22 ammo at Walmarts without the help of someone on the inside.

Though I have found as much 9mm and 40S&W that I want. And it's the cheap stuff too. Federal 100 rounds, TulaAmmo BrassMaxx. One word of advise if you are going to hit up the Walmarts; stores in smaller areas for the most part are not worth stopping at. They get hit hard because they are pretty much the only game in town.

The last time I visited a Bass Pro, I was there when they opened. There were at least 6 people in front of me when the doors opened. They all RAN upstairs to the hunting dept. and the ammo was all gone when I got there. I usually wait for a call from my son to tell me they have the type ammo at WM that I want. I don't hoard but I do have a sufficient supply.

The ammo is out there, but you have to be there when they put it out.

Well turns out the BPS is further from our hosts place than I thought, but we went to Cabela's today.

My first time in a Cabela's... WOW

The ammo shelves were VERY well stocked, in everything except rimfire which was the only empty spot on the shelf Booo.

Prices didn't seem too bad, saw some 5.56 for $8-something a box.

Good stock of guns, lots of AR's

Pretty cool place all in all.

I was off work here in NC yesterday so took a drive around.
Bass Pro Shops here had no 22LR, a good amount of 9MM, 40, and 223 but prices weren't that great.

As advised, I'd call before going, unless you want to go anyway.
