Ruger customer service wanted to see the pics and they are reviewing. In the meantime they (ruger) are aware that the gun is in CA and said that is not a problem. I didn't ask for any elaboration, what I wanted to hear.

The slide will wear over time, especially with as many rounds you have through it, the metal slide stop is on the same side and will rub a little while shooting the gun, this is normal wear, it actually looks really good for 2500 rds

Whatever you do, don't send them the entire gun. Since the SR22 was removed from the roster, you might have problems getting it back.

Naw. Only if they had to replace the gun might there be a problem. Even then you could ask for the damaged gun back.

Functioned just fine today - with GB (golden bullets) no less. Mini mags okay also.
