After the first .22 shortage(which I'll admit it caught me off guard),I made sure I bought enough not to be affected by the next shortage.

My favorite threads on Calguns are when someone takes a kid shooting for the first time.
So,If you honestly need some .22LR to take a kid shooting,I'm willing to give you a 325 round box of Federal Automatch.

The conditions:

1-You come pick it up from me in Livermore.(This does limit offer to locals.)
2-You take pictures of kid shooting and post it on Calguns.

Last year, I offered up a brick to anyone under 14 who received their first rifle for Christmas and added a day of shooting on private property. Getting to watch Fate's son hit anything he pointed his new Savage at was one of the my most memorable days shooting. Fate's daughter came along too and made a pile of mashed potatoes out of a couple sacks of them. You're doing an awesome thing and should try to meet the kid at the range and watch him/her shoot some of them. You'll be smiling the rest of the day.

Contact purplepeople. I think he runs the appleseed out of chabot. I gave them a stock last year. Keep looking at my extra 10/22 and think I should donate.... Maybe after I get my patch.

There was a post earlier that a guy wanted to take his little brother shooting and could not find any 22 I sent him 400 rounds and said pay it forward. We are nice people here. You just proved that. I bet the Brady forums arent offering free chapstick to the other pouting members!

That is great, and you are so right Tank. One thing I learned early on was, trust is hard, but most people are good.

To the OP, it makes me wanna do the same. I have a crud ton of .22, and a .22 pistol I hate to shoot. Let's post back about the Appleseed donation... I bet they get a lot of .22
