    bullet stuck in the barrel

gf and I were out shooting when her rem 597 had the clip blown out of the bottom. found the casing looking like this.

Seeing how most of the force blew out the back I assume it didnt have enough to send the round out of the barrel. took it apart today and can only get halfway down the barrel with a cleaning rod. Seems the round is stuck in there. I havnt applied any force to try and force it out. any suggestions?

    Brass rod + hammer

Ignore any fools who tell you wood dowel or cleaning rod. Do it the easy/right way or it will cost you more money and time.

Brass rod is available at Ace Hardware amongst other sources.

              He's being a calgunner...

He means wtf is a clip. The proper term is magazine or mag for short. Just saving you 5 sarcastic calgunner armchair elitist posts.

Isn't it DeLeon who wonders why anyone needs a 30 round magazine clip? I forget which anti it was was and how exactly he said it. Maybe a 30-clip magazine.

Yes OP, careful when use the term "clip" here on CG. You'll have the CG police cite you as it was a bad word. I usually correct them and say "sorry to offend you, i meant to say clit"

East Coaster here and was going to say the same thing.

Brass rod and hammer, very carefully.

I would use an air compressor, but then again I wouldn't admit it.
