    PMR-30 Single Shot Conversion

I'm interested in sending the PMR-30 into California. I imagine the buyer would probably request that I install the components for the single shot exemption.

For the purpose of the exemption, would a permanently affixed compensator be included in the barrel length? I was thinking perhaps a levang-style comp, which puts the pistol right at 10.6". (the actual DPMS Levang adds only 2").

    I don't see why not.

I heard that one of the ways to make a barrel longer was to weld a tube to the barrel.

If the comp is permanent that should work too.
    Yes you can have 2 C&R 03 FFL's; 1 in California and 1 in a different state.

Thanks for the feedback. I listed mine in the sales forum. I'm going to buy an extra slide and a threaded barrel, and permanently pin the linear compensator. I'm also going to experiment with methods for blocking the mag well.
