Two things happened... They removed all the registration requirements (Steinberg wanted nearly ALL weapons registered, even stuff purchased long ago) and they removed the rimfire AW language. Yes, it is good news for the semi auto .22 owners, but SB374 still impacts all center fire rifles with detachable mags (mini-14 et al).
You know they will be back in the near future in an attempt to get the rimfire semis. Just because you don't own or desire to own a semiauto centerfire rifle, don't think that the passage of this won't affect you sometime in the future.The American Republic will endure until the day Congress discovers that it can bribe the public with the public's money.Comment

Isn't it a better strategy to leave it in? It would give moonbeam an OUT not to sign it. But then again, he made everyone a criminal in the event of a natural disaster by outlawing open carry.
