Was already mentioned but getting the "Yo Dave" trigger kit will improve pull greatly. Easy to install, just be sure you properly cradle the parts during installation - takes about 5 minutes and definitely worth it.

I have 2 452s (17 HMR, 22 WMR) and a 455 switch barrel in 22 lr. The wood on the 455 is a great improvement over the 452s. But accuracy thus far hasn't been as good as I'd like. The 455 isn't as accurate as the 22 WMR and that's a full stock version. Maybe I haven't had time to experiment with the right 22 lr ammo. But I'm wondering if the switch barrel system, using two large set screws, has an influence on accuracy when compared to the permanently threaded in barrel to receiver version.

Play with the ammo ... mine will hit the NRA 50 yd."X" consistently and make quarter-sized patterns at 100 yards.

Put some good glass on it, spend the time to zero it dead on and try a variety of ammunition. Mine does equally well with GECO semi-auto ammo and Eley Tenex. your barrel may have other ideas, but these work extremely well for mine.

Might not need one. Two of the four CZ rimfires I own could be adjusted down to 3# with very little creep. Other two needed minor trigger work (lighter spring + stoning).

2013 452 Ultra Lux I just got is a little mushy/creepy; It may need a Yo Dave. Cheap and easy fix.

Check out CG user Dattebayo's posts. I have a 452 UL that I put into a Klinsky stock like his. Needless to say, it's sexy. Might get a pic up later.

first one in April and my 6th one (452 Ultra Lux) gets picked up next week.

My CZ's are mostly stock (the exception being a lighter trigger spring) and each one is capable of consistant MOA or sub MOA shooting. The trigger options mentioned here are good ones. I second the rimfirecentral suggestion. There is a TON of great information and knowledgeable folks in the CZ forum.

My CZ's likes midgrade ammo like Wolf MT/Sk Standard Plus and Eley Target. It shoots well with CCI SV but groups tighten up with the other stuff. The Lux has really nice stock tangent sights, or you could opt for the peeps (which I like even better) if you decide not to scope it. Check out the stickys and posts at rimfirecentral and you'll be fully prepared for good times when your Lux arrives. CZ's are kind of the Lays potato chips of guns though (you cant have just one), maybe start setting aside a couple of bucks each month just in case.
Where did you get the peep sights for the Lux? What did you have to do to replace the front sight?

There is a gentleman that sells CZ pieces and parts that you can contact for more info. He may be hard to get hold of because he is out of the country quite a bit. He goes by Denny or Brnoman. E-mail; ajakubec@aol.com

I am a big fan of all CZ firearms. The CZ 452 and 455 line is no exception. I have a military trainer that shoot remington golden bullets like match ammo and it shoots pretty darn good.

Every person that I have let shoot the rifle has been rather impressed. I have it setup with aperture sights and it makes shooting paper very intuitive. As others have mentioned, I have a Klinsky stock installed on mine and I absolutely love it and recommend it. It certainly makes the rifle a bit heavier, but if it is a range gun, then it really isn't much of a problem.

Some groups as well from my rifle! 5-shot groups @ 50.

I don't know which model but the Turners in Kearney Mesa has one. I just bought a 455 Varmint from online.

There is a CZ 455 at Turner's Fountain Valley. I am amazed that it is still there.

Try SoCal Guns, it's been a couple of weeks but they had a couple the last few times I've been in there.

455's I think, but don't quote me on that.

Check Poway Weapons and Gear's website. I ordered my last .22 from them since it showed in stock and it was in the shop before my 10 wait was up.

You will not regret your choice (other than the fact that after you shoot the CZ when it gets out of jail, you will go buy another, and maybe another).

                              I have a CZ 452 Ultra Lux .22 LR with Tech-Sights

a CZ 455 Varmint Evolution .17 HMR with a .22 WMR barrel (the mags from the .17 HMR work with the .22 WMR and visa versa)

I've been trying to resist buying a CZ 550 UHR .300 Win Mag for a few months, but it's been tough
