What ammo are you using in your SR22

Blazer feeds fine and accurate
AR tactical and Troy Chooth 'em
Fed Champion Vale paks tended to hang up in the magazine every now and then...could have been during loading { my wife was shooting that day}




during the "panic" I op to get some American eagle in order to save my better ammo ...
ran it through my 10/22 and it didn't like it ,the 15-22 didn't like , the Ruger sr22 hated it.....
to make things worst even the Marlin 60 tuber didn't like it and thateats everything

I had the same problem in my SR22. Now I only feed my SR22 CCI minimags.

So you did have problems with the auto match specifically?

Yes I did, along with other Federal Bulk ammo. I had a number of FTFs using Automatch and I can say that it was not my magazines. Ever since I switched over to CCI Minimags, I haven't had any problems whatsoever. But like everyone says, if your SR22 will eat it, that is great.

I remember I use some m-22 by Winchester...

feed fine but belched out so much smoke as if it was flintlock.... it was smoking out our side of an indoor range

can't remember how accurate it was but it would have stood out "remembered" if it was anything bad

None really. But after shooting a few hundred rounds, I would get a few ftf or fte, but that's after 300+ rounds in a day, maybe more. I don't really keep track. My wife loves it.

Federal bulk here. I do have some ftf here and there, but I can't say anymore than other brands. It just doesn't strip one off the mag every now and then.

Federal auto match worked good for me. Only issue was a few ftf when sister-in-law was limp wristing it. Once I told her to grip it firmly, it cleared up.
