Which drop in trigger for 10/22

No experience with any of them, just picked them out of Brownells catalog.

The whole group or just parts?

I put Volq parts in my 20+ year old 10/22 when I put a Hogue and heavy barrel on it, I think it was hammer, sear, some shims and a spring or two. I am really happy with the trigger now.

I have played with a TG2000 or whatever Volq calls their drop in complete unit, it is an unreal pull, super crisp, but the $200 was too much for me. Never played with the other parts but have heard good things.

    Good luck.

I installed a Power Custom Competition Rifle Trigger Kit on my 10/22, my trigger now is crisp @ 2.5 lbs, I'm really happy with it, I believe the Volquartsen will do the same as both are made of Quality material, it just boils down to which ever kit is on sale to get the best bargain!

If you want the best, here it is. Kidd is not cheap, but worth every penny. As a bonus, it will probably only take 2 or 3 days to get to your mailbox.

If you want to save some money send your trigger group to Brimstone. Whichever level of work you choose, you will be happy.

Kidd. Best there is. Have three kits and beaucoup Single and Two stage complete groups. Two big thumbs up, way better than my PC and R/T set-ups.

I have the Volq trigger group. Just swapped it in and good to go. Nice crisp clean and breaks at just under 2.5#.

They're pricey now. Got mine years ago for $175.

You would be surprised at the difference in feel between the Kidd and VQ, the Kidd really shines. Many VQ owners have sold their triggers to move up to the Kidd.

Forgot that one, I have a Tier 1 Brimstone, and it trips as good as a Kidd kit.

Just wondering if the Kidd Drop in Trigger kit was worth it? Don't have the big bucks to drop in a whole trigger assembly (yet).

Yes, if your Ruger trigger housing is the polymer one. If it is the older metal version, it may or may not need some minor fitting. If you have the metal trigger housing, send it to Brimstone instead.

I replaced the hammer in my 3 10-22's with the VQ and love them. The best 33 bucks I spent for my 10-22's....Put one in my take down, one in my delux and one in my 17hm2......
