Blaster you say? I was in the same boat. Why similar stocks are listed at $175, and why should I pay that? I bought Blaster for $114 shipped and I love it. I will buy other stocks from them. Excellent quality, great price, many choices. In the configuration below, very well balanced too.

I have several "Blasters" Great bench stocks. Too heavy/bulky for a walkaround.
I've alwaysdone my own finishing. Blasters are a great buy!

With a skinny factory barrel there is no problem with a ton of free float. It's when you have a heavy barrel that you want a bit of barrel bedding to support the weight and keep it from moving.

Thanks madmax305! I bought this one in the late 90's. It was finished unlike my others. It was a limited run. Don't see them any longer but it seems they re introduce these guys every few years. This one is Revolution Stocks answer to the Blaster. Revolution calls theirs the Yukon.

I think I'm going to put a blaster on my Savage 93R17-FV get rid of the plastic stock.
May need two one for my 93 MK II those synthetic stocks of Savage need a riser the Blaster would cure that and the prices aren't bad.
