I agree 100%.
Do not help them write worse legislation by pointing out what is missing or wrong in their proposals on a public forum.
Would you tell an enemy how, when and where you will attack so he knows what to prepare for?
This is no game, it is reality that may very well affect all of us in negative ways.

i remember in 2007 and 2012 when i said obama will take away our guns, and everyone thought i was paranoid.
Very specific ideas posted on this site are now up for debate whether they can be now regarded as illegal.
One of my threads is now a bill from Santa barbara. things that one year ago would just seem outrageous and silly, ideas like case imprinting, ammo registration, ammo limits, stock 10/22 considerations for being illegal, now an immediate threat to our rights.

I have seriously mixed feelings about this. We are currently suffering a slow and painful death because they won't come out and admit that they wish to make all firearms go away. If we help them write a solid set of laws that are create a virtual ban on firearms (ala handgun roster plus micro stamp) the sooner we get into the courts for a ruling. If they keep writing bad laws (eg. AWCA) we are still able to get the firearms we want, albeit neutered. If they write the perfect law, maybe we get court rulings in ten years as opposed to twenty.

Either way,SB374 comes close to throwing us right into the briar patch.
