an sr22 is probably my next purchase. debating between an sr22, 22/45, or a cheap hi point 9mm.

Are you saying that your SR22 will not feed CCI Minimags? If so, that is first I've ever heard of any .22 pistol not liking CCI Minimags.

No, it shoots everything including sub-sonics. More than 15 brands/types of .22lr from subsonic to hyper-velocity (though I don't shoot much of the hyper) bad for the pistol I think.

Hey,I know this is off the subject of SemiAutos,but I found some Aguilas 20 grainers to shoot out of my Remington FieldMaster pump, And Boy, I quickly resumed a boyish grin a mile long. they were so quiet I could only hear the cycling of the bolt.you could see the bullet leave the barrel.LOL.
