Last price I saw for mini-mags was $15.99 per 100.
Ammo can be in the checked luggage and must be declared(red tagged).
Most airlines list limits on their web sites.

I have been waiting at wal mart daily until the ammo comes out. It sucks, but I was able to get 3 333 packs of .22lr and some federal auto match on midway. Of course it was cheap but the shipping was more than the box of ammo and the quantity limit was 1 Go figure right? But still I have enough now along with a box I bought for way to much out of a trunk, it felt like a drug deal or something as I would imagine one but still I can shoot now. I just hope the prices get back to normal sometime soon. I have not seen mini mags since Feb though, and they were 10.99 so I cross my fingers for more I wanted to get into match shooting but right now its not practical. I do suggest Nikon scopes though, I will personally never buy anything else.

I've only got about 50 rounds of CCI Mini Mags. Basically it's in a box that my friend didn't finish shooting at the range when some of us from the office went shooting years ago.

Luckily, I have 9000 rounds of .22lr of various other brands, but only 50 rounds of CCI minimags.
