Nows the time to buy her one. Get her a Glock 19 or if you can find a used (PPT) Bersa Thunder 380, those fit young female hands great.

Thanks for the kind replies all. Yeah I have been thinking (and so is she) that now is the time for her to get her own. I overheard her and my wife talking about which guns they wanted .

I will do whatever I have to to make it happen for them ...

And listening to them talk it seems they both want Sig's (thats what happens when you watch NCIS too much I guess )

That's fantastic! Years ago, I took my reluctant GF to a range where she fired some .38 special rounds out of my S&W 686. Her reaction was very similar to your daughter's and now we have a 10/22 that's mostly hers and she was just talking last night about getting a .22 pistol that would be hers and hers alone.

And it's so great that you can make a trip to the firing range into a family outing!

Both my girls shot at young ages, oldest got pretty good at skeet youngest hunts and has a CCW. Got to teach my oldest grandson to shoot, he still goes to the range with me when he isn't working 27 now.

Well she had her heart set on a Sig (I was going to pick her and my wife up P226's), THEN my daughter saw a "Hello Kitty" AR online.... Guess what she wants now
