    Nice buy!
I put a deposit on a Takedown Tactical (11112) last Sunday and when I called Turners today the said it should be in within the first week of May. They said Ruger is pretty good with their time frames.

Nice. Thinking of adding a 10/22 to my safe sometime. Congrats.

I love 10/22s and have several of them. I wish Ruger offered the 10/22 in a wood stock with the stainless hardware.

            Get yourself a good quality rimfire scope. The Nikon Prostaff 3-9x40 ($150) is a pretty good hunting/plinking scope although perhaps a bit on the large side for a stock 10/22. Weaver's RV4 4x28 ($120), RV7 2.5-7x28 ($140), RV9 3-9x32 w/AO ($220) and Leopold's FX-1 4x28 ($220) and VX-1 2-7x28 ($220) are all really good rimfire scopes. The two Leopolds have the advantage of being small enough to fit a 10/22 take-down.

              oppe,
which Turner's location did you put the deposit down for your TD tactical? I asked at F.V. Turner's and they said they were not taking deposits on this model.
              Thanks
