Found Old 22LR Ammo. Picture inside.

Got a head start the other night on spring cleaning and found my dads old stash of ammo. Box looks old and there is at least 300 rounds. Should I shoot it? Keep it? I'm pretty sure this is from the early 90s

It's unsafe to shoot. Just send it to me and I will dispose of this for you

I have some 22 short ammunition from the 1960's that I wouldn't worry about shooting.

It's not "old" enough to worry about. It doesn't have any real collectors value.

Last summer, my buddy shared with me a bunch of Mini Mags from the early 80s and it was no different from my current MMs.

Kept in a nice dry environment, ammo can last decades.

I still shoot stuff I have lying around that I purchased in the mid 80s. In fact, some of it is those same 50 round green boxes of Remington in your pic. Have fun.

I have a brick of that Remington my dad gave me. Think mine is the Sub-sonic stuff tho. Shoots better than most of the stuff I can find now.
