    Browning Bl22.

    I have a Marlin Cowboy, Henry Golden Boy, etc and the Browning is not only my lightest but the most accurate! Great for kids, but note it is of much higher quality and hence a littler more to buy then the entry levers like the Basic Henry...
    TURNING and turning in the widening gyre
    The falcon cannot hear the falconer;
    Things fall apart; the centre cannot hold;
    Mere anarchy is loosed upon the world,
    The blood-dimmed tide is loosed, and everywhere
    The ceremony of innocence is drowned;
    The best lack all conviction, while the worst
    Are full of passionate intensity.

        That is for sure some excellent advice...and it's free.

        Also there IS a BIG difference between a .22 lever action and a lever action BB gun. That would be like having a kid that just got his drivers license and then put him behind the wheel of an eighteen wheeler pulling a 53' trailer through downtown.

          Browning BL22 is where it's at. Light, accurate and eats any 22 ammo. I finally found my grade 2 after searching for a real long time and could not be happier with it.

            Rossi/interarms made a 22 pump take down. Thats what my son learned on. You can still find them kn GB now and then. Great rifle. Very light and it comes apart.
