Between the Umarex and GSG MP5-22, the Umarex is significantly higher quality. The Umarex is actually licensed, which is nice if you want the HK logo on your plinker. What kills me with the GSG is that the sights are plastic, which is SUPER cheesy. Even if you throw a red dot on there, it's indicative of the rest of the build quality. I have owned some other Umarex products and been pretty satisfied before, and the GSG 1911 I have is pretty cheap construction. I hear good things about the 416-22 (another Umarex product) and wouldn't mind having one of those either.Comment

Having second thoughts about that Colt M4 Ops I purchased last friday...They didnt have this model in,and being as that these go quickly,I felt that the colt was only option lol.I did hear that the colt is somewhat picky on the ammo, but not as much as the HK Mp5 I looked at,and the mossberg 715T was for sure not considered..Comment

I know I will be the butt of jokes but I get to pick up a Mossberg 715T in a few days. Hopefully I get a good one because of the hit and miss reviews I've read. Its for the family so they wanted something cool looking and that's all that was available.sigpicwww.clovisscreenprint.com

My HK mp5 eats any ammo I've put into it.
Never an issue. Weird.CLXXIV

I've only got to try my friends gsg and had same problems as jp007. Cleaned and properly oiled, it got maybe 50 rnds @ most before feed/firing problems arose. I know another guy who loves his to death and swears by it.
Seems like a crapshoot to me..................
+1 more for sig522.
Often spotted lurking behind Big5 counters nationwide(before all this madness, idk about now).... It runs well on most bulk ammo. . I hated how heavy my trigger was, but it was a quick easy fix with a common ar15 hammer spring.

I liked my Sig 522 almost as much my M&P 15-22. If it were the Commando version I may have kept it.
But yeah, my vote also goes to the Sig 522 since you already have the M&P.Comment

i LOVE my 15-22, my GSG MP5 is also a FUN plinker. you cant go wrong with the ruger 10/22 either (plus it has a HUGE aftermarket for parts/upgrades)
out of all my 22's my favorite rifle is hands down the 15-22
