Ammo Finds - Post them here

I am just wondering if there is a new set of "special links" or some other funny business you have to do to get .22 ammo from Cabelas now or if it just shows up on their website like other ammo does.

So for the folks who got ammo from Cabelas last night, did it just appear in the "regular" rimfire ammo section on their website?

It was up at Gunbot. These are new products under one new IK number. They aren't new in that sense, but I doubt anyone had the IK number or their Id number.

I believe you can type in a quantity on those list pages but you can't add to the cart if it's sold out.

If it's sold out no, but when stuff goes live and you click a link here I was never able to add ammo to my cart through the M.gandermountain.com

You always had to "go to full site"

At least for last nights/this mornings Mini-Mags, it was able to be found under the rimfire ammunition section on Cabela's. No special links or "backdoor" tricks needed.

I found it from the rimfire page. I looked at Gunbot after I bought it, so not sure when it showed up there. I'm thinking if stuff is on the rimfire page as soon as it's available now, gunbot might be more useful than usual. I'd say continue to check those individual item links, though.

I don't know about you, but I didn't have any individual link for IK-214328. Just for your info, it's been up for the past hour at Gunbot, the Velocitors have, but it's been OOS from the beginning. Also remember. The pic show shorts. I've seen shorts, Velocitors, and the two mini's under this number this morning.

I would try the rimfire first and gunbot right after. For me, gunbot isn't that fast. Oops. Make that the individual IK-214328 first.

A buddy of mine knows someone at CCI and was told that they have been stacking up ammo and then shipping out a lot at a time which is why we saw so much blazer , velocitor, AR Tactical and choot em not too long ago after not seeing any of it for a while. I'm willing to bet Cabelas got a giant shipment and just wanted to get rid of it all at once rather then have to store it in a warehouse for weeks. I doubt we will see another drop like this with any CCI ammo from the big C for a while. But if they continue to stock 500 rounds of mini mag in 36 and 40 gr and let you order one of each then that's still pretty promising

Interesting, well with CCI, Federal, Winchester and Remington(doubling their production soon) cranking .22 lr out full speed ahead Cabelas is going to be getting something!

After a monitor check, It followed the usual recourse:

1st it showed up on my comparison chart, then it made it's way to the rimfire page and from there...well U know the rest.

So like always it hit the Item page setting off the comp chart alarm,
since it didn't sell out after ~an hr, it hit the rimfire page where GB and the rest picked it up.

Sorry I was at work doing the morn rounds or I could've given us the head start we needed.

By the time I returned everything was gone...

Oh well there's always next time...
(GM didn't fail me...so all wasn't lost.)

Forgot to mention I don't remember the CCI Bricks showing on the website since the whole shortage took off.
(The Item # isn't new, had it in my comp list for years.)
Was nice to see the Velocitor's though, which I believe, is the last time this # was used.
(Around Black Fri if memory serves...)

It's definitely a good sign that they're offerin' it again, but I still don't believe we're out of the woods just yet.
As I've stated more than once, I don't see and end to this till at least the Fall/Winter.
Just pray we don't get another Scare or FF come election time.
We're just 1 panic away from more of same we had last year...Same bat time, same bat...well U know...

I initially ordered mine after checking gunbot. It showed up less than a minute before I checked according to the site. I ordered then I looked at the regular rimfire page and it was showing there.

I'm new to the rimfire world. Just ordered a Savage Left Hander and ordered and received 500 rounds of Hornady Vmax from ammosupplywarehouse.com. They also have CCI in stock. Seems like pretty decent prices.

ditto no chart new guy i only got lucky once in the last 3 months. sucks cause i just picked up a new puppy, and i would like to see what it likes to eat.lol
