Well, I'll give it one more shot for a drop, the 10 pm one. Then it's for me. If I get my chores done early enough I'm gonna try out my new MP 15-22 after I put on my new scope. I feel a "Rambo" afternoon coming on.

The M&P's are a hoot! Gave BOTH my girls one for Christmas, we've had a ball shooting them!

I bought the Nikon Prostaff Rimfire 3-9x40. Have the mount on and positioned the scope but haven't put it on permanently yet. Thought I'd first clean the gun then mount the scope. Hope to do that tomorrow and then go shooting. Had a heck of a time getting the 10 round mags. I think I'll like them better than the bulkier 25 round mags.

Definitely like the short mags better. Much easier to handle the rifle if using a bipod.

That's what I was thinking. Ended up paying twice what they're worth as everyone is OOS and S&W doesn't know if and when they are gonna be made again. At least I have a couple of each size now.

Good call. Midway is taking back orders on the 10 rounders for $18. I placed an order for several earlier in the year and they claim they are supposed to get them later this month. I know they keep showing up on eBay so I have to imagine some are still in the pipeline.

I have an order with them too. I looked at GunBroker and found a guy in Nevada that's selling them for $84 delivered for two. Seems like whenever I buy mags they are from someone in the Reno area. Usually I get a good deal on them, but not this time. I wanted two to try them out.

The ones I've seen on Ebay are either used or as expensive as I paid.

I have the same pro staff on my 10/22 and a Kidd build I did. Glass is excellent for the price.
