Ammo Finds - Post them here

Went to a Vegas gun show this weekend, $175 for Bucket O Bullets and $75 a brick for Fed Bulk and Rem GBs. They were flying off the shelf.

The .22 lr panic/shortage is not going away anytime soon.


I guess I am fortunate enough to get enough ammo from this thread, I am forcing my self to stay out of here because I can't spend more money on ammo!

I don't understand why anyone would pay that much. I've found plenty of .22LR ammo in 2013 at reasonable prices.

Might be Gander SOL tonight. At least I have orders coming (to look forward to) for each of the next 6 days (which should put me into 22lr critical mass for the foreseeable future).

I got 2 bricks of Blazers coming which should top off my 50cal ammo can which will be about 8000 rounds.

I have a Mark III Target that I like so much, in a couple days I'm putting another Target (in Stainless) through DROS. Ruger got it right. You'll love that Mark. Get a scope (or even w/o one) and you'll never put it down.

You have a lot of paranoia and no facts to back it up...There is no spying with chrome unless specifically given permission to do so, or an extension you add in that was designed by the NSA... wait, what was that? they use popular extensions and apps that people install on their own to do the spying??? hmm that means any of your favorite browsers are susceptible.
Really though, have you ever heard of a packet sniffer or have any knowledge of how it takes 2 minutes to figure out if an app like chrome is making "Secret" calls and to where. If chrome had spying built in the tech community would be crying foul in minutes. Also to note that chrome is open source, so anyone who wants to look into the code can, and thousands of developers do everyday, how do you think those extensions are made? Point being is it would be headline news that everyone knew about almost instantly upon the spy code being put in.

Closed sourced extensions and apps is what you need to be leery of. But again they would eventually get discovered by some IT geek or hacker using a packet sniffer.

Cell phones are a completely different animal and that is why it has been so easy for NSA to gather data secretively. The tools for troubleshooting phones during development are extremely limited and as such there is not many ways for IT geeks to track the traffic going to and from the device over the mobile network.

It also reveals your naivete in such matters to those here who are older and much wiser than you.

Reverting back to your statements as a whole they also show a Self proclaimed cavalier "Know it all" attitude that no amount of spoon-feeding would seem to cure.

Pay extreme attention to the Whistleblowers of the day and books written by, as well as on them.
Also note the future positions of the perpetrators of this evil genius.
Try your best to keep up as it winds its way though the administrations becoming at times autonomous as it's ever pervasive hold grows stronger.
Word of caution though, foraying into this with an open mind,
following the logical conclusions to the present day, will chill you to the very core.
