and that's what they were at the Gander store 4 days ago when i bought them. Cabela's price is a tad too high for me. Same as Gander's price on mini mags, and I don't get the handy boxes (that I can sell on ebay)

Can't believe you haven't picked up on this as it was discussed in some detail on the board whose name shall not be spoken, back when people were paying $8 for the empty boxes. Same as the full boxes. It was also discussed on this board less than 2 weeks ago. I just now sold my 4 on ebay for $15.51. Also sold a single antique glass shaker with no top for $113. Got it in the thrift store for 99 cents.

Re the tax, I generally just ignore it because I pay it on whatever I buy. I even payed it on the gun I bought from out of state. Probably didn't have to, but it's too easy for the ATF/FBI to communicate with my state tax office.

I think they just want to use them for the range. Repack with bulk ammo. That's what I use them for, but I don't really need more than 2.

I just received payment for an auction of 5 100 rnd cci minimag jewel boxes: $31 not counting the extra shipping fee of $5.00.

my cci ammo is now stored in ziplock bags, and all jewel cases will be resold.

Clearly, you should never buy cci ammo on the secondary market, because it's likely to be repacked cheap ammo...

I just can't believe anyone would try and sell them filled with other ammo. The seals are broken, the other ammo would have different headstamps, and would look different. You'd still have to buy the cheap ammo as well as the boxes. I really just think people want them to sort and/or store other ammo.

Interesting... so CCI or WW could end up being CHEAPER than Thunderbolts if you sell the boxes!
