Just got my Thunderbolts, the box of 500 was in rough shape but the inside boxes of 50 was still intact. Seems like a trend from Cabela's... someone in their shipping department is not very happy with all the ammo buyers ....

It's not bad for Stingers. I'm thinking RodH's comment is a thinly veiled slap at a previous blowhard. (forgive me if I'm putting words in anyone's mouth)

Not at all. I don't typically shoot Stingers as they are the more expensive CCI ammo. But in general, if you are buying CCI .22LR, it will cost you more than most other stuff out there. I have been shooting strictly CCI minimags thru my Ruger SR22 pistol and have never had a single issue and is worth the price IMO.

I'm pretty sure $6-7 a box is pretty standard for stingers. Hypervelocity rounds tend to cost a premium. If he's looking for a hyper round, he got a fair deal. Midway has them for $6, but they are never in stock.

This is correct. CCI Stingers are $6-7 per box of 50 rounds....that is the key, you're only getting 50 rds per box. CCI Minimags are $6-7 per box of 100 rds and CCI Standard Velocity is about $4-5 per box of 50 rds.

Its a free market, don't sweat it. When time is of the essence, get what you can I say. Yes prices are coming down but its hard to find the $.05/per stuff, it flies off the shelves as you may have seen. I am holding out for more Federal or a bucket but if your empty you have to jump.

Good work getting what YOU want. Don't let the guys in here scare you or anyone ,for that matter, into waiting. If there is another run you will have yours.
