      Faith Armory Temecula....no go

She said they just had received some Saturday, but it is gone. For anyone local, she said check back Saturday mornings when they open at 9, that is when they usually receive the shipments. She quoted 100rds of .22lr for $11.99.

I'd rather be Joe the Flipper. Less overhead.

I was thinking about that yesterday. Yeah the lgs has no problem moving inventory... When they have it but if they don't have it they still have to pay their bills rent utilities payroll etc. kind of hard to blame them.

It's simple, boycott everybody that sells overpriced ammo and correct the market. I want to *****, but that won't help.

Early this year they were standing in line at Walmart trying to buy some so they could resell it at a higher price. A couple went out of business because they couldn't make enough money to pay the rent and overhead.

I even left them go in front of me when I saw them. I was only shooting the ammo. They were using them to put food on the table for their family.

It's sad. I often thought the little guys should have been the ones that first received the ammo from the Rem, Fed, Win, etc. Bleep Walmart and the big box stores.

Ordered a bunch of ammo July 1, 2013 from Graf's. Received about 60% of it months ago. The rest is still on back order including 1050rds of Fed 22LR
Hi-Vel 36g copper HP. Inquired of them last night as to availability on all I had on back order. Here's their re fyi:

"I am sorry, but I do not have any way to estimate when we will be getting any of the items you have on back order. Wolf ammunition comes through the Philippines and the hurricane they had just threw a huge monkey wrench in their supply line. The .22 LR your ordered has been backordered since this time last year. Federal is not making us any promises on any ammunition at all. We will call you if any of your items become available and your order is holding your place in line."

I almost got some 22 at a local Walmart last week but had to leave for an appointment. I was trying to get a couple boxes for my little sister(12 yrs old). So hopefully I can find someone local that might have brick they can sell for a reasonable price before we head out to blm next week.

There is a difference between ammunition for recreational purposes and essential products in an emergency. Jacking up prices to make huge profits from food, water, gasoline, or other necessities during a crisis is immoral. People may die for those profits. Hang those bastards.

.22 ammunition during a shortage generated by fear of potential laws passed by Congress or Obama or the CA Legislature and the ensuing buying frenzy is not a life and death crisis. Frustrating for sure. Make you grumpy and want to complain, absolutely. Deeply resent those profiting from the unusual circumstances, you betcha.

But I don't think the ammunition gougers are immoral. *ssh*les perhaps.

Let this be a lesson to us all to buy a brick of .22 every week and to live our lives with at least 10 or 20 thousand rounds in the back corner of the closet. Be safe from any .22 famine and the power of the ammo gougers.

Because you know this will happen again sooner or later.

Artificially controlling the prices of an "essential" product to a "reasonable" level will only create a shortage.

Why should I share if I don't get something worthwhile in return? That's called "commerce."

Would you rather be able to buy water at $30 a gallon during a disaster or not have water available at all for $3 a gallon?

Thanks to everyone for posting the great deals when they are available for 22lr. I just received my shipping notice for my 3rd box of 525 rounds of 22lr since i started my hunt to restock my .22lr supply. Thanks to this thread it hasn't taken long to do this. All purchased out the door for .05 a round or less so i am glad this thread exists. Hopefully more deals will make their way to this thread so that we can all take advantage of them. Glad that it is here to post these good deals thanks all!
