Too expensive after shipping.

YUP, you have to be quick. I missed out on the M22 at Cabela's yesterday and just saw this one on Slickguns at the perfect time today. It was in stock for a good hour.

If I am looking I check Slickguns and Calguns now so I don't miss something.

Odd I just checked my order status and the order from my second purchase of M-22 went through, but not the first. When I did a search on the order number, it showed up missing and I have to call a number in the morning. Maybe I only snagged one brick of M-22 after all. You would think it would have been the first order and not the second order that was deleted. Any way, I am more than happy to only snagged 1858 rounds if I can't prove my case or if Cabelas tells me that I can't order two shipments too close together.

Looks like my first order of a 1000 M22 went into never never land. Cabelas can't find any evidence of the order even though I have the receipt and order number printed for my records. At least my other order of 1000 pack M22 placed on the next business day with the Winchester 333 pack, is in process and shows up on the Cabelas web site. The earlier order of 525 Golden Bullet pack has shipped. So if this all pans out, I will have scored 1000 round M*22, 525 Round Golden Bullet, and a Winchester 333 round pack. I guess 1858 rounds is better than nothing.

I can't get angry since I feel fortunate to finally buy some ammo for the kids and myself to start making memories. The Cabelas customer service rep is sending a small gift card to offset the loss of the order. I would say that Cabelas made the best of it and since they are the only major player right now that has incredible shipping rates, I will keep going to them until the LGS can finally get some stock.

I love Gander. Bought 5 boxes of golden bullets, over 2500 rounds. Just paid the 9 bucks ammo charge, $124 total delivered to my front door. I paid $37 a box at Turners in SB. Also, 1600 rounds of mini mags in an ammo box for $128 in same order.
