I have been using the Cab CC for gas and anything else I can.
Applied for mine at the Cabelas store in La Vista, Nebraska.
$7500 limit.
I was able to use the upfront $20 Cabelas credit at the store same day towards a S&W revolver for my son.
He DROS'ed the hanguns in his name but I paid for them with my CC.
Try that in California.
He got to walk out of the store same day with 2 hanguns.
What a luxury.
As long as you are diciplined and go right home and pay the CC out of your checking acct you are golden.
I put gas in this morning and got to work and made the gas payment to the Cabelas card.
30 cents here, 50 cents there, $1.05 elsewhere.
It adds up.
