Ammo Finds - Post them here

Can anyone enlighten me on how to add something to this cart besides the ammo? They have a jacket on sale I wanted to buy but I thought I might lose the ammo in the cart(other than it going out of stock). Or am I just a du mass and I just go continue shopping haha

You can take a chance and go search for the jacket and then add it to the cart, but you might risk losing your ammo in the meantime. What I do is find a sale item I want ahead of time and add it to my cart. Then, when ammo comes up, it gets added to my existing cart with the item(s) I was going to buy and pay shipping for anyway. This way, it's like getting free shipping on even a small limit ammo purchase. It all adds up in the end.

I have 325 Federal can sitting in my cart that I'm not buying so I tried it.
Just go back to home and add whatever to cart.
When i did it the 325 Federal was still there and allowed me to go all the way to submit order, where I stopped.
If you know what you want and put it in your cart ahead of time and then wait for the link to pop up here it will save time.
Snooze you lose.

I don't feel bad.
By the time I'm done I will hopefully have 5K rds.
My only .22 is a Ruger MKIII.
90% of the .22 ammo I go through gets shot up by wife,daughter other peoples kids and non-shooter freinds.

You guys know if you're really desperate for ammo you're better off just running the checks yourself. There are several browser extensions that will check to see if a page changes. There's a bunch of stand alone programs like Simon (on the Mac) that will check to see if a page changes and if it does it'll just open it in a browser. To make these things efficient you just look at what companies have been getting ammo recently and pick a few things you would like (CCI Standard and mini mags at Gander as an example, or as another example federal bulk packs at every major supplier) and use the DIRECT URLs since a lot of these companies don't update their search pages quickly enough.

You'll know about the finds within a minute of them going up, and be amazed at just how slow gunbot is when they eventually get posted. You'll be amazed that checkout actually goes fast when you start it before everybody else. You'll be the guy that causes the item to vanish out of somebody else's cart for a change.

Then post it here. Eventually (and I mean a couple of weeks) even being picky you'll have so much ammo your credit card becomes the weak point and before it turns into a molten pool of plastic you show some restraint. Then you post finds for your dear friends here. Until one too many complainers pisses you off and you turn off your program until you need it again.

Perhaps now I will be able to contribute to a thread that I lurked on, without joining, for a few weeks.

And to share ammo finds with us -- something the biggest complainers don't seem to do themselves. Maybe it's just the "entitlement mentality" rearing its ugly head . . .

I don't understand that mentality either. It seems as if some feel that it's someone else's responsibility to find them ammo. They themselves do not seem to want to search and contribute but feel that the ones that do should not talk about anything other than where they can go to find ammo. Really?
