so signed up for the visa and got approved and all to get the $5 shipping, I was only able to use it for the first order, since I have not received it yet and its not in the system as a saved card, anyone know how long it takes to get the card?

it has already cost me about $20 in additional shipping costs (in a few days)

i just got my card yesterday. total about 8-10 business days. you get your paperwork with the limit. then 3-4 business days for the actual card.

you can use the card just like any regular credit card. i just did the Sig Sauer buy one get one free deal at Turners using my Cabelas card

your limit is $20k minimum. spend it wisely

Is there some special trick to ordering from cabelas...every time I check in with them they are SOLD OUT- that is unless i want a order of a single box .

Watch for the Cabelas links these guys are posting.
It will take you to what looks like (to me anyway) their shopping cart.
Click the green checkout icon.
It should (could) take you on the way to buying what was in the cart.
Make sure you look at what is in the cart and remove what you don't want.
Then hopefully procede to .22 heaven.
Having a Cabelas account set up already must be a huge plus.
Be quick on the draw and try the links regularly.
Be ready to buy, snooze you lose.
A having a Cabelas Visa gets you $5 flat shipping on each order.
Don't know why this works but it got me a bunch today that is near impossible to get if you do the watch the website routine.

It constantly changes . Sometimes the same time 2 nights in a row , sometimes they have nothing for 5 nights straight. There is just no rhyme or reason with Gander. They might not even have anything tonight considering they had a bunch of ammo thruout the day today . Guess we will have to wait and see.

It has pretty much only been single boxes lately.

It is usually single boxes, esp when they are the larger size. That is why the Club card is important if you plan on buying from them on a continuous basis. Remember, a lot of us, including your's truly, pay no tax because there are no Cabelas in our state. This in many cases offsets the $5 shipping charge, esp. if you are able to buy several items.

Please remember, these are "back door" purchases. In most cases they are NEVER available online under "rimfire". Many times they never make it to the "charts" which were, at one time, considered "back door" purchases. Proof of this is just ask Customer Service if any or your back door purchases are available. You know what the answer will be.

The reason I'm mentioning this is the following. So what if an order or two gets canceled, or put into back order. So what. This has always been the case for nearly a year now. You are still getting many of your orders delivered. That's far better than if you try to order something under "rimfire" online.

Guys, if its removing the items from your cart upon checking out. That means they've sold out. Whats left is whats avail to order. The items arent actually avail. just cause the link puts them in your cart and it reads"in stock". Thats how these links work.

Ive got links that put roughly 25 items into my cart. I hit "check out", then I get to see what if anything is actually orderable.

Yes - I got 5 (some got as many as 10). I expect tonight and/or tomorrow night to be as plentiful as last night (just a hunch). Many companies send out shipments to retailers at the end of the week (Thursdays/Fridays). They arrive Monday and Tuesdays, get logged into the system and...first come, first served.
