its odd when you go on cabelas sight to just search for ammo using the drop down menus the m22s are no where to be found

That's pretty normal at Cabela's. If you shop using the menus you won't buy much .22. Gander mountain is the same way, only their menus taunt you by showing everything you missed the night before.

I saw on another board a report that a brick and morter Cabela's (in Colorado) had "several hundred" packs of M-22. That's a lot for one store, if true. I was at Cabela's today and they had zero .22LR.

Now that I think about, this is my third .22 score from Cabelas in two months, they have been pretty impressive. I scored two of those Winchester wooden box deals with the 333 round box in December and now this. Thanks Cabelas!

Wow, I think I am tapped out for now. HAve purchased over 5k rounds of 22lr in the past couple of weeks, most of it thanks to this thread.

Thanks for the update. I scored another 2.5k rounds of CCI this week thanks to this thread. Turned out to be a pretty good . Now I'm finally feeling comfortable enough to go out and build a nice Semi-Auto .22lr to plink along side my Savage MKII. Now to choose, shall I build another rifle? to buy a nice Ruger MKIII?! Gahhh!
