I know it's too good to be true. I don't normally have the luck of finding something rare or at a bargain.

At least the price looks to be dropping every day and supply is becoming more plentiful. Hopefully my stash will last me until 22 supply becomes saturated again.

Their product arrival system leaves a bit to be desired. I don't think I have received a single product arrival notification email for ammo that wasn't already sold out when I clicked the link.

I new I was jinxing myself yesterday by telling people of my excitement on the purchase.

I called Midway and talked to them, they said they sold too many "cases" but still have my single box of 525 Federal on hold for me, until they can figure out if I'll be one of the lucky ones who get a full case.

I was also told they're going through to see who placed their orders at what time and that their filling that case order in time-placed order. Which I replied "that they should bump me up to the top" because of them cancelling a backorder of a case I made 5 months ago. They canceled right after Christmas for some reason...and now they have it in, or I should say they thought they had it in...

I just called in and they said that they didn't have any stock for me. Considering that I was one of the first, 6:35pm PST order time, I'm thinking no one else is getting some either. Sad day.

This is interesting...

I was at my computer when I got an email notification from Midway. Opened it up right away. It says Midway just got a shipment of Federal Champion 22LR in. I click on it and it was out of stock.

I just happened to be at my computer checking various Midway 22LR stock when the email showed up. I know for a fact it was not in stock. It's just interesting that I got the email notification long after the product was sold out.

Ya I got that same email this morning. I happened to have been lucky enough to buy a case of that yesterday at 6:40pm. They were sold out by 6:50pm. I am glad that Midway sent me that email this morning....

FYI (and I am only a conduit), I went to Big 5 this morning looking for 32ACP. Per store manager, no Big 5 (in L.A., Ventura, Riverside, Orange and San Berdo counties) has ammo coming in this week no matter the caliber. Evidently their distribution center didn't receive ammo from their distributor (comes 1x/week). So...whatever is on the shelves is what's available this week.

I chatted with a Midway customer service agent and they informed me that there has been no stock on the cases of 5250 Federal Champions. He said he didn't know the situation and "someone in logistics dropped the ball" on it. I also asked why some people with the single boxes of 525 were getting their orders and he said he honestly didn't know anything about it.

Ya, with a company that size, dealing with that many different products, with that many departments,etc,etc no one is really gona know the whole story.

Sorry to hear! I'm sure I, as well as many others, will inevitably get that email tool.... its just a matter of time. Good thing is I don't really need the ammo.
