I just got a few boxes of CCI standard-velocity Mini-mags from Lucky Gunner.

They had 100 for sale at $14.50 each. Wasn't the best deal, but at least I know that I have 500 quality rounds to put through my 10/22 (haven't even shot it yet).

Stopped by LAX last night. Plenty of .223 reloads and cases of new PMC. Can't believe that I paid these prices but this is the cheapest I've found here in LA. If anyone can help suggest somewhere I can buy new PMC for less than .70 per round, I'm all ears. Please PM me, I'm only looking for 1,000 rounds.

            LAX Prices for .223:

            500 x .223 55gr FMJ (reloads) for $349.99 +tax
($383.24 total or .76 per round)

            1000 x .223 55gr FMJ (new) PMC for $750.99 +tax
($824.21 total or .82 per round)

Surplus Ammo has 500 round bulk packs of Remington for $100 After this and what they charges yesterday, I will be adding them to my "don't buy list."

Yeah that price is ridiculous. That makes the rimfire ammo about as expensive as surplus 7.62x54r.

Yeah, but it hurts the shoulder less

SG Ammo just put up CCI standard velocity 500rnd bulk packs for $35. Tried to buy 2 bricks but was sold out super fast. I got my 10/22 to shoot cheaply and it's too hard to even get ammo to shoot

Saw that, too, huh? Yeah, when I got on SGammo, they had 96 boxes in stock. 35 seconds later, nothing. Keep on trying. One of the reasons I decided to get a Henry lever action rifle instead of the Ruger 10/22 was precisely the fact that I could shoot .22 short and long with it and not just .22lr. While they've also been scarce, .22 short and long rounds are a bit easier to find or last longer on websites or stores for me to get them.

I just visited my family in Hawaii and many ammo shops carry .22lr ammo including bulk and match grades. I packed some fgmm ammo for my daughter's rifle.... I wish I could of brought more.

Sportsman Warehouse has CCI Blazer .22lr bricks $19.99. Shipping was reasonable too. Also had Remington Yellow Jacket 100 rounds for $9.99.
