I don't think comparison chart will help in this situation. Need the item in your wishlist. Can't add to wishlist unless item is available. Next time its available(like it was for many hours today) add it to your wish list. Then next time it shows in stock in the wishlist, you can add it, even though it might not be listed on the main site.

Still showing in stock on the comp chart. Edit ... still shows a price but when you go to the product page it shows OOS

I was thinking real hard about getting one too. I ultimately decided to buy a separate rifle for about the same price, and the bonus was.....I have another rifle! I picked up a Mossberg 702 for my wife and kids and they love it.

Do some reading on the side effects of shooting 22LR through your AR. It gets the barrel rifling and especially gas port openings fouled with lead. If you do it just clean it thoroughly.

gas port issues makes sence.. I'll do some looking around on other threads for kicks and giggles.

It is best to get a dedicated 22lr upper rather than the drop in conversion but this only imho

Looks like I'm going to look for a dedicated upper. Only problem is I have to stop buying 22 ammo for a while so I can build the bank roll.

I had one and traded it for 5.56 ammo. It was cool, but just felt too cheap.

Yeah my thoughts too. The 715T looks really cool, but it seemed to have troubles with the AR looking mag feeding and did feel cheap.

For $100 less, the 702 has the same guts but without all the furniture bolted on, and still is semi auto with a 10round mag.

I've run two bricks through it (thunderbolts and federal champions) so far and for a cheap rifle, it's surprisingly good. I put a cheap NC Star 3-9 scope on it and my daughter has 2-3" groups at about 50 yards.

Not gonna win any competitions but it's a lot of fun to shoot. Especially when I'm tired of being smacked around by the AR.
