I just did an online chat at Cabelas. The person indicated that the email
Cart function has been terminated.

I am happy I got some ammo from it while it lasted, but ultimately its the right thing for Cabelas to do.

We all knew it wouldn't last forever.

Why would Big C take down the 'Rimfire" selection option?

My guess is to get each product page and setup a page monitor so you know when it drops. Just like we do for gander mountain.

If you can get each product page that would be better. That will set off an alert for any rimfire. Ex 17hmr 22mag etc.

Well, in the short time that I have been here, I have been able to get about 6k rounds of ammo. I sold some at cost to family members. It will take me quite a while to go through that much ammo with my cz bolt action. I am hoping to get a ruger mark iii hunter and a 10/22 in the future - those will eat up ammo a little faster.

The link providers will just have to have a 30 second auto refresh on the Cabelas rimfire ammo page and watch it.

Possibly we could pattern the times Cabelas posts their ammo like we have done with Gander.

Bottom line Cabelas is going to keep receiving and shipping out .22 lr and someones going to get it, its going to be a matter of luck because in stock .22 lr items are only going to last a few minutes now.

The flippers get ammo from a lot of sources, but I know some come here to buy ammo to flip and theres no stopping that. There will still be ammo finds, its just going to be a lot harder to get ammo from Cabelas now.

20k almost all of which came from C and more on backorder and yet, I find myself wishing I ordered more yesterday...
