Its the calm before the storm fellows, manufactures are cranking out .22 lr now more than ever C and G will be getting boat loads just wait.

I don't think so. It is like dealing cards...everyone has not been dealt in yet.

How long will it take to fill just the Walmart shelves if no one bought any? I can guarantee that what we are buying, everyone who buys from C, wouldn't fill 25% of them, now add in Bass Pro, Academy and countless gun shops, not even close!

re: the guy buying a ton of .22 - some of the people doing that may not be regular folks. As an example last year I sold a case of .22 to a gun store. The thing is, he wasn't breaking it up and reselling it as such - it's a place in a tourist town that does rentals to international tourists from places where they don't have guns. And if he doesn't have ammo he can't rent the guns for insane prices and his whole business model falls apart. So to HIM it was worth basically anything and he had an assistant with orders to get on gunbroker and get X rounds of certain calibers at any price. Come to think of it I think I sold them two cases.

I think we are at least a year if not an election away from .22 ammo getting near normal like it was before the first panick.
Before this is all over prices will jump big and stay that way forever.
I initially was setting a ceiling on my stash and getting out.
Ive decided to continue buying from Cabelas as long as I stay interested.

On a side note.
I have made all my links out of pre-existing ones I canibalized from posts.
Somebody had some PMC 9mm in one of them, which I removed.
Its now in stock and keeps showing up in my checkouts for links that I removed it from.
I am assumimng that any link I made from a bigger link is going to show me stuff when it comes in stock that I cant see on my link but was on the mother link.
I havent made any attempt to make them from "scratch" from the comparison chart. Dont know how and have honestly been to lazy to figure it out.
Had a lot of PMs asking how to do it and I just tell them to use a big mother link and trim it down like i did.

Is it possible to call any of these company's and order over the phone? I work all the time and I could take about 5-10 minutes to buy some ammo but doing it online from the phone seems like it would take forever

Ya I keep removing it but it shows right up again
Will just have have to remember to remove it when something comes up in the cart that I actually want to buy.
Only "risk" is losing the good stuff in the small delay caused by removing it before checking out.
If this is the biggest probelm i face today life will still be good.

Make a new link and be sure to remove it from that link. You must have over looked it.

How quiet are those things compared to the CCI subsonics?

Really quiet. They only have a little bit of powder in them. People use them to dispatch gophers in the suburbs, that kind of thing. Subsonics are only quiet if you have a suppressor.

Not a good general target round, but they have their uses. I know somebody who shoots them out of an antique .22 that can't handle a very powerful round.

Yes, I have done that several times and that darn 9mm still shows up.
Closed everything else on my desktop out and tried it with just that link open and still there?
Oh well
It makes me ponder actually buying it.
$14.92 a box shipped for factory boxed brass 9mm ammo with 2 dry storage boxes is about as good as its going to get for 9mm these days
