Any Caliber is better than NO Caliber. I was gonna give away 2k Rds of .22 a couple months ago. No Way! Turners puts .22 Ammo out, it`s gone. Should tell you something.
Yes I took the pic, no I didn't go swimming!

I was using those in a test the other day, they ran great.
Test was through 10/22, 795 and CMMG

I am in 91722 and going to be doing a bulk buy if anyone is interested and wants to get in the buy.
I am not sure...they were package in package of 250 I believe.

I would be interested in a bulk buy. Where would you be posting it?

I've only seen ammo being harder to get. As another poster mentioned, it's actually easier for me to shoot 9mm and .45ACP since I can reload that.

Sure wish I bought more of the CMP .22lr

If people would quit panicing... Nobody would have a problem trying to get ammo!?

The three walmarts that sell ammo near by me have been cleaned out of 22s the las four times I've stopped by.

Shopped all the Wal-Marts in the valley for .223 this weekend. I hit 5 stores 2 had .223, 1 even had 5.56. Not one had bricks of .22. There were still some 100 packs and such. As mentioned Unless you are looking for "hunting" rounds or maybe .40 its tough

Most online vendors seem to be wiped out too. Gunbroker also no exception. I'm seeing auctions for 22lr ammo going well above the amount they usually go for.

That's why it's a good idea to own several different calibers.

CCI mini mag seems to be out from most online sources. Wolf MT is slowly being sold out, although I still have a couple sources with minimal stock. .22 ammo is going to most always be cheaper to shoot than even reloading. Standard capacity mags (10+rds) were going for a premium back then, and I believe most are also sold out.

I have the same problem... 3 trips to the most local Walmart, and a side trip to 2 others, to no avail... 22 Shorts don't cycle in my 10/22 (I had to try..).

It IS a good thing that I reload for 9mm, and 5.56...

I'm glad I stocked up on mags for the m4-22 and m&p 15-22 earlier this summer.
I shoot at least 400-500 rounds of .22lr every week. I am good for at least 3 years.

Picked up some .22 at Bass Pro today, but most people were focused on the 9mm they had.

That would mean you have 78k rounds stored of .22. Is that correct?

If you do indeed have 78,000 rounds of .22, do you think you can possibly sell me a few hundred? I just purchased a 10/22 this weekend but cannot find ammo anywhere. It's a bit sad
