    Any police buyback programs around?

I have an older Marlin 60 thats nothing but problems (FTF. FTE.) I was hoping to get one of those $75 giftcards that the LAPD gives out around the holiday season. Anyone know of any programs coming up in the the south LA or Orange county areas?

If a good, thorough cleaning doesn't fix the FTF/FTE, it might be an old enough M60 (18-shot) to have the bad feed throat. Something like a $25 fix, IIRC.

Any chance it's C&R? They did make these things in the 1960s, right?

Any idea of the date of manufacture?

I'd double check. If it's C&R, you can do a face-to-face tranfer. You can also sell it out of state, if you have travel plans anytime soon.

In LA, they have historically done them in May.
