Kimber 82G from CMP

Mine and Surf-n-Shoots new 82G's. Just arrived today

one has no cut at all and one has a small 3 inch
may keep the scratched one because its gonna be re-stocked and made into a bench-rifle.

Range report

Took the Kimber out today to the range and shot a few targets.

Nice quality walnut and steel:




The provided sights are excellent:


Standard rimfire target at 25 yards with what ammo I had on hand:

FC = Federal Champion, 40 grain lead round.
Rem = Remington CMP surplus std velocity ammo, 40 grain lead.

Silhouette target at 25 yard with Remington std velocity ammo from CMP:


The best ammo so far was Wolf Match Target. I think with a scope and Wolf ammo it should really shoot.
