Please be forewarned that this hobby is very addicting. There you go. Don't say no one told you so.

Here's my Savage MKII F from Turners Reseda. Took 7 weeks to finally get this from a special order.

Added CASV rail from an AR15, bipod and flash hider

Going to the range this friday at Angeles to finally shoot this thing.

As a starter scope, may want to consider the Bushnell 10x fixed. They're on sale at Midway for $199 for the mil/mil version.

But it all depends what you want to do with this rifle...

@ Defcon I went to Turners in Reseda and it so busy. I called later and was put on hold for 15 minutes before I hung up.

Thanks guys. I will buy the rifle and then get scope after. Should I stick with dovetail or go with a weaver rail? Also, where would I find accessories that fit a Savage Mark II FV? Im having a hard time finding them online.

I went around 5. Would recommend going to the Turners in Pasadena?

If you're in the valley, drive north a bit to Oak Tree and check out what they have, shoot some of them too before you decide.

The CZs are nice but Savages are great guns for a significantly lower price.

Once you have decided on a specific model, contact Turner's, Big 5, The Target Range (Van Nuys), Guns Direct (Burbank), Aegis (Burbank), or Oak Tree for pricing and availability.

                    Good luck!

I think I will call around!

I have been going crazy and looking at the next rifle. LOL addictive. Can someone buy a new Remington 700P? Does it compare to the 700 SPS?
